EASTERN CAPE LIQUOR BOARD HOSTS ANTI PENS DOWN AT ZWELITSHA TOWNSHIP.

The Eastern Cape Liquor Board (ECLB) cordially invites media representatives to the third leg of its Anti-Pens Down Campaign this season. The campaign aims to discourage the harmful culture of post-examination parties among learners.

As end-of-year examinations approach, ECLB intensifies efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption and related risks associated with Pens Down parties. Due to the growing cases of these parties, coordinated by learners to celebrate the end of examinations, ECLB is embarking on a concerted effort to educate learners about this harmful behavior. Schools from Zwelitsha, King Williams Town, Bisho and surrounding villages will form part of the campaign.

Details of the Campaign are as follows:

 Date:                  09 October 2024

Time:                   10h00

Venue:                OR Tambo Hall (Zwelitsha Zone 1)
