THE LAUNCH OF THE UNIVERSITY ANTI-ALCOHOL ABUSE CAMPAIGN

In recent times, institutions of higher learning in the Eastern Cape have experienced increasing cases of alcohol abuse among their students. In response to this scourge that bedevils university campuses, Eastern Cape Liquor Board has embarked on a concerted effort to roll out a campaign on the four Eastern Cape Universities (Fort Hare, Rhodes University, Nelson Mandela University and Walter Sisulu University).

To this end, MEC Oscar Mabuyane invite media to the official launch of the university campaign, which will take place as follows:

Date:               26 February 2019

Venue:           Regent Hotel, East London

Time:              09h00 – 12H00

The Honourable MEC for Finance, Economic Development, Environmental affairs and Tourism Oscar Mabuyane will deliver the keynote address. In attendance will also be the Vice Chancellors, Deans of Students and SRCs from the four universities of the Eastern Cape.
