EASTERN CAPE LIQUOR BOARD CONDUCTS AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS TO COMMEMORATE INTERNATIONAL FOETAL ALCOHOL SYNDROME DAY   

Eastern Cape Liquor Board (ECLB) is joining the world in commemorating the International Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) Day. Every year on September 9th, International FAS Awareness Day is observed in countries in and around the world. 

ALCOHOL SALE REMAINS PROHIBITED AND ILLEGAL UNDER ALERT LEVEL 4

The sale of alcohol remains prohibited under Alert level 4 as stipulated in terms of the revised Regulation 44 of the National Disaster Management Act.

The Eastern Cape Liquor Board (ECLB) would like to encourage communities to use their constitutional right to be part of the decision-making in the issuing of a liquor license through a community consultation process.

ECLB URGES LIQUOR TRADERS TO BE VIGILANT FOR  THE THIRD WAVE COVID 19 OUTBREAK

In view of the looming Third Wave and recent proclamation of Adjusted Level 2 Lockdown, the Eastern Cape Liquor Board urges all liquor traders to adhere to Covid 19 health protocols, which include social distancing, wearing of masks and hand washing (sanitising).

The Eastern Cape Liquor Board (ECLB) cordially invites media to the school-based underage drinking launch targeting  more than five schools in Makanda Local Municipality, at Grahamstown.
