EASTERN CAPE LIQUOR BOARD IN PARTNESHIP WITH AMATOLE HERITAGE COUNCIL TO HOST THE MANDELA MONTH CLOSING CEREMONY IN ALICE

The Eastern Cape Liquor Board in partnership with Amatole Heritage Council cordially invites media to the official closing of the Mandela Month to be held at Fort Hare University, in Alice.

This occasion will be graced by the attendance of the Honorable National Minister of Social Development, Bathabile Dlamini; Deputy Minister of Tourism, Thoko Xasa and His Excellency, the Mayor of Amatole District Municipality.

During the event, food parcels; school uniforms and blankets – among other things – will be handed over to the needy people who will include people that are adversely affected by poverty from the surrounding villages. Senior female citizens that are housed at Pumalanga Old Age Center will receive blankets, which will be donated by ECLB and Amatole Heritage Council.
