In celebrating the Mandela Day the Eastern Cape Liquor Board CEO in partnership with the South African Breweries cordially invites the media to the handing over of winter blankets to about 76 people living with disabilities in the Nyandeni Local Municipality as per the schedule below. On the same day, blankets and educational toys will be handed over to an Educational Centre in Butterworth. In both centers the will be a vegetable garden inputs handing over.

The identified centers are Siyakhana Youth Center taking care of abandoned children and improve lives of the less fortunate youth around the Mnquma Local Municipality. Whereas Nyandeni People living with Disability is a center to people living with disability and children affected by family violence, drugs and abuse of alcohol.

Details of the event are as follows:
Venue : Libode Town Hall
Time : 10h00 to 12h00
Date : 16 July 2015
Then we move to Butterworth:
Venue : Siyakhana Youth Center (Butterworth)
Time : 14h00 to 15h00
Date : 16 July 2015

Media is, therefore, invited to be part of this initiative in order to maximize publicity thus ensuring that responsible drinking and liquor trading messages go beyond these targeted places.
