EASTERN CAPE LIQUOR BOARD TO VISIT LIQUOR OUTLETS IN ALFRED NZO DISTRICT
Eastern Cape Liquor Board will be embarking on a fact finding visit to Alfred Nzo District together with the South African Police Service. This is done to strengthen compliance and enforce regulation to all liquor traders in the area. We invited members of the SAPS to conduct searches and seizure of illegal weapons and drugs on patrons at the outlets.
ECLB has approximately 771 registered outlets in the areas covered by the ECLB’s Alfred Nzo District office. These outlets will be visited to verify their status with regard to the appropriateness of premises and update the organisational geographic information system with the relevant details of the outlets as most of these outlets are not represented in the current dataset.
The areas that will be visited include; Matatiele with 148 registered liquor outlets, Mount Ayliff with 180 registered liquor outlets, Mount Fletcher with 94 registered liquor outlets, Mount Frere with 106 registered liquor outlets and Port ST John’s with 245 registered liquor outlets.
The visit is planned to take place over a period of five days from the 12th to the 16th of October, 2015.
Should you be interested to join Eastern Cape Liquor in this campaign, you are more welcome and the details of the visits are as follows:
Date: 12 – 16 October 2015
