Eastern Cape Liquor Board to commemorate International Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Day (FAS) on 14 September 2017

The Chief Executive Officer of the Eastern Cape Liquor Board, Mr. KC Maneli, together with various stakeholders from around Makana Local Municipality, invite you to the commemoration of the International Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) Awareness Day.
As this is a national initiative, the Eastern Cape will commemorate the FAS International Day on September 14 in Grahamstown at Tanki Township, which is experiencing increasing cases of alcohol abuse, particularly among women, which poses a risk to their unborn babies.
The event is scheduled to take place as follows:
Date: 14 Tanki Township
Time: 10h00 – 13h00
Venue: Tanki Community Hall, Makana Local Municipality
