EASTERN CAPE LIQUOR BOARD CONTINUES TO USE SPORT TO FIGHT UNDERAGE DRINKING

Eastern Cape Liquor Board in partnership with the National Shoprite Checkers will be hosting a sport tournament amongst 15 schools in Matatiele local municipality.
The aim of the tournament is to encourage pupils to refrain from consuming alcohol and educate them about the dangers of consuming alcohol. Matatiele schools are part of a pool of about 160 schools across the Province that ECLB has adopted with the sole purpose of educating school-going youth about inherent risks of underage drinking. The theme of the tournament is “BOOZE NOT FOR LEARNERS”.

The Board cordially invites you, the media to attend the tournament and to provide a coverage of the tournament.

Details are as follows:
Date: 24 February 2016
Time: 08h00 – 17h00
Venue: Open Grounds, Sport Ground, Matatiele

For more information, you are free to contact ECLB Spokesperson Mgwebi Msiya on 0605016418 or Pumlani Fani on 0781242834.
